These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Lean Back Navigator (the "Service"), operated by Lean Back Navigator LLC, doing business as Lean Back Navigator ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Lean Back Navigator helps you scan, organise, summarise, and search your personal mail and documents. We provide the Service on a subscription basis with a limited free tier.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be of legal age in your country to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• Probe, scan, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
• Upload malware, viruses, or attempt to gain unauthorised access;
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or circumvent technical limits.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the mail, documents, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you (including OCR, classification, and summarisation). We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Lean Back Navigator LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

6. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; cancellations take effect immediately with a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current period.

7. Service Availability

We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, update features, or temporarily suspend parts of the Service.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination you may export your data for 30 days before deletion.

9. Disclaimers & Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where required by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Lean Back Navigator LLC is registered. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
